3.2 - Filter Searches
This feature is available on both web and mobile applications.
Using PlantQuest filters allows you to search for a subset of assets using predefined search criteria. Upon conducting a filtered search, you can view the exact location of a subset of assets across your facility.
Doing A Filter Search
Select the filter icon (
) located within the search box. Use the predefined filter options to refine your search.
To remove an input, click the "X" in the respective input area.
Click "Go" to view your filtered results.
Click "Clear" to remove all filter inputs.
To close the filter panel, click the filter icon again or the "X" in the top right corner.
Filter Results
The left-hand panel will display a count of assets found from your filter search.
Asset pins will appear on your facility map, marking the locations of the respective assets.
Filtered results are shown per map. The result count in the left-hand panel corresponds to the currently viewed map. If you switch to another map with results, the count will update accordingly.
If your filter search returns results across multiple maps, this will be indicated on the map selector.
Selecting assets along the left panel will remove the respective asset pin from the map. Reselecting the asset will make the asset pin reappear.
Similar to search for an asset or room by its Tag / ID as outlined in the previous section, selecting the navigation icon (
) beside the asset will activate "Navigation Mode", and selecting
will open up the asset info card.
Pro Tip: Combine multiple filters (e.g., Building+System Type+Asset Type) to isolate specific sets of assets and narrow your search results.
