3.3 - Selecting Rooms on the Map

This feature is available on both web and mobile applications.

Selecting a Room

PlantQuest has identified every room or area across your facility making each one of them selectable. Upon selecting a room, you will be presented with information, along with a list of all the assets within it.

Web Application

• Move your mouse over the map to see room outlines highlight.

• Click on a room to select it.

Tablet Application

• Using your finger or stylus, tap on the room you would like to select.

The Result

Selecting a room works the same as searching for it by ID or name:

• The room's outline is highlighted.

• The room's name/ID appears in the left panel.

• All assets within the room are listed in the left panel.

• Selecting next to the room name/ID or an asset will open its info card for more details.

• Clicking the navigation icon () next to a room or asset ID will activate navigation mode, setting it as your destination. To learn more, visit the Indoor Navigation subpage.
