3.4 - Viewing Asset / Room Information

This feature is available on both web and mobile applications.

In addition to displaying an asset’s location within your facility, PlantQuest provides access to detailed asset information. This data may include:

• Location data generated by PlantQuest.

• Notes, photos, or updates added by other PlantQuest users.

• Data captured by the PlantQuest implementation team during system setup.

• Information from integrated systems such as CMMS, BMS, ERP, or automation systems (if integrated with PlantQuest).

PlantQuest presents this metadata in an accessible format, helping you quickly gain the context needed to make smarter decisions.

Viewing Asset & Room Information

As outlined in previous sections, after searching for an asset or room—whether through the search bar, filters, or map interaction—its Tag/ID will appear in the left-hand panel.

• Click the icon to open the asset info card.

• To close the info card, click the icon again or select the "X" in the top-right corner.

Adding or Updating Asset & Room Information

• To add or modify asset or room details, refer to Section 4.1 – Managing Assets & Rooms.
