3.6 - Map Layers

This feature is only available on the web application only.

PlantQuest allows you to overlay data & attributes, and points of interest onto your facility map. When combined with asset searches and way-finding routes, this provides additional context and insights to users, helping them make smarter and safer decisions.

Viewing Room Attributes & Datasets

1. Click the icon in the top-right corner.

2. Select the attribute or dataset you want to overlay onto the map (Plant Rooms, Production Rooms, etc).

3. Note: PlantQuest allows you to view only one type of attribute or dataset at a time.

4. To add or remove attributes for specific rooms, visit [relevant section or admin portal].

5. Layers can be overlaid when:

   • Searching for assets

   • Using navigation mode

   • Loading workpacks

Viewing Points of Interest (POIs)

1. Click the icon in the top-right corner.

2. Select the POI category you want to overlay (Emergency Exits, Muster Points, Etc).

3. POI markers will appear at their respective locations on the map.

4. Multiple POIs can be viewed at the same time.

5. To add new POIs to the PlantQuest system, contact your Site Engineering Admin or email [email protected].

Pro Tip: Turn off layers you don’t need to reduce map clutter.
